Applied Learning Awards 2024 | Bayside, Glen Eira, Kingston

Exciting Updates for 2024 – New Award Category and Awards Ceremony Event!

Nominations are now open for 2024 Click here to nominate

Rationale for ALAs

Applied Learning assists students to develop vocational skills while completing secondary school.  This includes the VCE Vocational Major (VM), Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC), Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VET) programs or School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs).

The ALAs provide a point of recognition for student progress in any of the above programs.  Teachers/trainers, coordinators, schools, education providers and employers are also recognised for their positive contribution to applied learning throughout the year.

As well as recognising outstanding achievements of students and the adults who support them, the ALAs aim to encourage future involvement in Applied Learning and uphold the importance of these programs in our community.

Nominations Close Midnight Friday 27th September 2024

Coordination of the ALAs

The ALAs are coordinated by the Stride Education offering education and learning support to young people in the Bayside, Glen Eira and Kingston areas.

The Applied Learning Awards were established in 2009 as a mechanism for supporting and advancing applied learning in our local region.
