I am originally from Granada in Spain but has been in Melbourne for nearly 8 years now. I have had a diverse career before moving on to teaching at Le Cordon Bleu for the last 3 years.
I started my training at the Granada School of Catering and Tourism whilst working as a cook in the starters and banqueting sections on the side and spent 3 years to achieve my Culinary Diploma. I had the privilege of working closely with Chef Juan Andres Rodriguez who was the finalist at the 2011 Bocuse D’or Competition, and this was an inspiring moment for me early on in my career.
Fast forward to a few years later, I now have a career that span over 19 years. Some of highlights of my career have been working at the Palacio de Los Patos in Spain as a Head Chef, to working as a Personal Chef for private parties on cruise ships and homes. My career as a Chef has also allowed me to travel over the world increasing my knowledge and experience over the years, but also has open doors for me to be invited as a Guest Chef on multiple tv shows in Spain.
Another aspect of my career has also been to be involved in the Cape Schank farm project where I have been able to provide support by pairing my knowledge of cooking and my love of organic produce and vegetables.
