Our youth workers provide information on various issues affecting young people and can assist in making referrals to appropriate services when required.
We provide referrals for:
housing;
education and employment;
personal and family relationships;
drug and alcohol-related issues;
health and wellbeing;
recreation; and
a wide range of issues.
We run community-based programs for young people with a connection to Glen Eira and school-based programs in our local primary and secondary schools.
Youth workers are available at the Youth Information Centre on an appointment basis, to provide support to both young people and their families. The service is confidential and free.
We are open from Monday to Thursday, 1pm to 6pm and Fridays, 1pm to 5pm.
