Melbourne singer-songwriter Tartie writes tales of love, loss and struggle. Citing influences such as Missy Higgins, Lana Del Rey, Coldplay and The National, Tartie’s unique blend of indie dream pop has received extensive community radio play across Australia as well as international internet radio stations.
Her debut EP Your Today was released in March 2017 and lead single Anything At All was a top 5 finalist in the Pop category at the Australian Independent Music Awards. Drawing from real-life experiences, themusic.com described Tartie’s heartfelt compositions as “an authentic and tasteful reminder of how one’s sadness can be expressed so gently through honest music.”
2018 saw the release of ballad Merch T-Shirt and alt-pop tune Missing Hearts which again received strong community radio support and charted on the Triple J Unearthed Pop charts at #10.
