Youth Connect runs a FREE fortnightly job search group for young people who are looking to get into the work force or may need career advice.

Career Connect helps young people aged 16—24 years old, who live, work or play in the South Eastern suburbs, seeking employment engage in a safe, informal, discussion-based group environment. Gain experience working in a team, voice your opinions, share stories and talk about your goals.

Career Connect, as part of the Work this Way program, can help you find a job including apprenticeships and traineeships by providing:

• Job matching services – matching you with current job vacancies
• Resume, cover letter, job  applications, telephone skills and presentation
• Interview preparation skills
• Careers Counselling
• Industry exploration and pre-vocational training
• Work trials
• Motivation and Direction exploration

We also advocate on your behalf to employers and support you in your new employment for the first sixteen weeks.
