My yoga journey began about 5 years ago in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. I originally started yoga to ease anxiety, muscle tension and a busy mind. Little did I know that I yoga would bring me much more than relief from all of these things.

I completed my yoga teacher training early this year, and five days into the training decided: ‘This is what I want to spend my days doing.’ I resigned from my previous job, to commit to teaching yoga full time. Along the way, I’ve learnt that committing wholeheartedly to a passion requires some form of bravery stepping into the unknown, but the reward is that I am now living a life aligned with what I truly believe in.

I now work at a range of studios in Geelong and surrounds, one of those being Yoga 213 in Newtown, which is all about bringing people back to their own innate state of happiness through music, yoga and community.
