Enrolment Process

Enrolment Closing Date: Early December

Enrolments will be accepted after this date if there are vacancies in the program (a waiting list applies to some programs).  Please note courses are subject to change or cancellation depending on demand.

Final cut off is in late February

Interested Students will need to complete an Expression of Interest Form.  The Student’s Form must be sighted and endorsed by:

  • The Student
  • Their Parent/Guardian
  • School Representative e.g. VET, VCAL, Career Coordinator

As a number of programs have limited numbers please ensure completed expression of interest forms are received well in advance of the closing dates.

Orientation Days are held in December or January giving students the opportunity to discuss the course, expectations and student suitability to the program.  Dates to be advised

Withdrawals

Students have a four-week “cooling off” period to withdraw from their VETis program, without incurring the full training cost (includes their fourth class/week of training), as long as the withdrawal is given in writing within this time-frame.

Any Withdrawal Form received after the four week cooling off period will incur the full course costs.

Cost of Course

Each VET course is funded differently so costs will vary.  Speak to your School Careers Teacher about the cost of a VET course.

Some courses require students to purchase materials to complete the course.  Materials include: text books, workbooks, protective clothing (i.e. engineering requires overalls, protective glasses, and closed-toe leather boots).
